5.3.5. Reviewing the Data

Terminologists, subject-field specialists, and some of the eventual users of the standardized vocabulary should review the final product. Subject-field specialists should ensure the accuracy, clarity and completeness of the subject matter, while terminologists should verify the terminological information and the technical accuracy (consistent spelling, correct entry of terms, consistency of definitions, correct cross-referencing, etc.) of the product.

Members of the user group should be asked to verify whether the product meets their needs. The quality assurance of the product is established by its compliance with the measures outlined in technical terminology standards.
