The Rotary Club of Ottawa arranges a concentrated four day program each May for some 215 high school students to see how legislation is enacted, interpreted, administered and enforced. The Adventurers are addressed by Cabinet ministers, the Speakers of the Senate and House of Commons, and senior officials. The students tour the National Capital Region, visit Government of Canada buildings and foreign embassies, discuss current issues at a local university, meet their local MP and/or Senator, and receive their Canadian citizenship certificates. 2, record 1, English, - Adventure%20in%20Citizenship
