Créée en 1995, l’AMBM est l’association porte-parole des municipalités manitobaines qui ont adopté la politique d’offre active de services bilingues à leur population. Les municipalités de l’AMBM regroupent ainsi des communautés de langues officielles en situation minoritaire où l’usage du français est reconnu comme une valeur ajoutée, tant au niveau économique que culturel.
