OBS

The Atlantic Procurement Coordinating Committee (APCC) is responsible for promoting cooperation in government procurement in the Atlantic region and for monitoring compliance with the Atlantic Procurement Agreement. The committee ensures that within the scope of the agreement, all suppliers and contractors in Atlantic Canada are given an equal opportunity to compete for goods, services and construction projects tendered by any provincial government, post-secondary institutions, and publicly funded school and health boards. Whenever practical, joint purchases are promoted under the auspices of the Maritime Purchasing Authority. The Committee identifies and promotes those goods and services that are unavailable in Atlantic Canada as opportunities for future development within the region.
