The Brain Repair Centre (BRC) at Dalhousie University is a multi-institutional collaboration between Dalhousie University, Capital Health District Authority, the IWK Health Centre and the National Research Council. Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the BRC conducts innovative R&D [research and development] projects dedicated to the repair of currently incurable brain disorders ..., serious mental illness, stroke and spinal cord injuries. The Centre's objective is to further research, both basic and clinical, that will enhance the ability of the central nervous system to protect and/or repair itself.

Le Centre de traitement des lésions cérébrales de l'Université Dalhousie est le fruit des efforts concertés de divers établissements, soit l'Université Dalhousie, la Capital Health District Authority, le Centre de santé IWK et le Conseil national de recherches du Canada. Situé à Halifax, en Nouvelle-Écosse, le Centre réalise des projets de recherche-développement innovateurs dans le but de guérir des troubles du cerveau actuellement incurables [...], des maladies mentales graves, des séquelles d'accidents cérébrovasculaires et de traumatismes médullaires. L'objectif du Centre consiste à faire progresser la recherche de base et la recherche clinique en vue d'améliorer la capacité du système nerveux central de se protéger et de se réparer.
