The Business Anti-Smuggling Coalition (BASC) is a business-led alliance, supported by the U.S. Customs Service, created to combat narcotics smuggling via commercial trade. BASC is a voluntary program where corporate participants set self-imposed business standards to eliminate the use of legitimate business shipments by narcotics traffickers to smuggle illicit drugs.
