The Carcinoid-NeuroEndocrine Tumour Society (CNETS) Canada was formed in 2007 to assist the Canadian community, primarily patients, with this type of disease. The Canadian government confirmed CNETS Canada's charitable status effective February 1, 2008.

Mission Statement. In collaboration with medical and scientific experts, stakeholders and partner associations, CNETS Canada educates and advocates for Canadians on all aspects of neuroendocrine tumours [(NET)] and helps Canadian NET patients seek and obtain personalized diagnostic and therapeutic options.

Le gouvernement canadien a confirmé le statut caritatif de la STCNE du Canada le 1er février 2008.
