The Centre of Excellence for Youth Engagement (CEYE) brings together the expertise of youth, youth service providers, academic reseachers and policy makers to identify, build and implement models of effective practices for meaningfully engaging youth. The CEYE is committed to youth being involved on a lead basis with the support of professional adults in every step of the research, policies and products we generate. In addition, we engage young people to benefit from the knowledge being generated by the other Centres of Excellence for Children's Wellbeing with specific focus on involving disengaged youth who have the potential to benefit the most from the positive health outcomes associated with meaningful engagement. 1, record 1, English, - Centre%20of%20Excellence%20for%20Youth%20Engagement

Le Centre d'excellence pour l'engagement des jeunes s'oriente sur la recherche, la description et la création de modèles stratégiques efficaces pour engager des jeunes dans une participation significative afin que soient prises des décisions judicieuses pour une saine qualité de vie. Le Centre tient à ce que les jeunes planifient, exécutent et soient impliqués à titre directif dans la conception, la collecte et l'analyse de données, la construction et l'évaluation de modèles, la publication, la propagation et la communication des résultats de la recherche ainsi que des produits découlant de cette recherche. Des professionnels adultes leur offrent de la formation et leur servent de soutien. Le Centre s'engage à offrir du soutien aux professionnels de la santé, aux pourvoyeurs de services s'adressant aux jeunes, aux parents et aux communautés afin qu'ils puissent adapter et adopter des modèles d'engagement efficace des jeunes.
