CLICOM: Acronym for CLImate COMputing which, along with INFOCLIMA, is a WCDMP [World Climate Data and Monitoring Programme] project to coordinate the implementation, maintenance and upgrading of automated climate data management procedures and systems in WMO [World Meteorological Organization] member countries. CLICOM is a system for the collection, quality control and archiving of climate data and the production of climate applications products. INFOCLIMA is a system developed to provide information on climate data sets which are available in various services and institutions as well as information about observing station networks and National Climate Centers.
