OBS

Organization: York Region Transit. Started 2002, ongoing. This program allows all regional employees to buy bus tickets for commuting purposes at half-price. The goal was to increase the use of public transit by employees and reduce single occupancy vehicle use. In addition, by leading by example, the Region hoped to encourage other municipalities and businesses to adopt similar programs.

Organisation : York Region Transit. A débuté en 2002, continu. Ce programme permet à tous les employés de la région d'acheter des billets d'autobus à moitié prix pour des besoins de transport quotidiens. Le but du programme était d'augmenter l'utilisation du transport collectif par les employés et ainsi de réduire l'utilisation de «l'auto-solo». De plus, en prêchant par l'exemple, la région de York espérait encourager d'autres municipalités et entreprises à adopter des programmes similaires.
