OBS

EGOS is an Action Group of the Data Buoy Co-operation Panel (DBCP) [of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC)]. It was established on December 1, 1988, as a joint operational project for near real-time acquisition of meteorological and oceanographic data in the North Atlantic Ocean.
