The Farm Debt Mediation Act (FDMA) received Royal Assent on April 25, 1997. It came into force on April 1, 1998, replacing the Farm Debt Review Act. La Loi sur la médiation en matière d'endettement agricole (LMMEA) a reçu la sanction royale le 25 avril 1997. Elle est entrée en vigueur le 1er avril 1998, remplaçant la Loi sur l'examen de l'endettement agricole.
