Manitoba Hydro. The Forest Enhancement Program is a practical approach for Manitoba Hydro to recognize the loss of forest cover that results from the construction of transmission lines, substations, and generating stations. Its purpose is to enhance and sustain the forest environment of the communities and regions of Manitoba by funding tree planting, forest education and innovative forest projects.
