In January 1995 the WHO Executive Board admitted four new organizations into official relations, bringing the total number to 181. This decision was based, among other criteria, on the performance of joint activities. For example, the Inter-Africa Committee on Traditional Practices affecting the Health of Women and Children contributed to the production of a WHO information kit on female genital mutilation; the International Association of Biologists Technicians to training courses in developing countries on detection of sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis and opportunistic diseases associated with AIDS and to courses on the maintenance of laboratory equipment; the International Medical Parliamentarians Organization to exchange of information on health policies; and the International Women's Health Coalition to promotion of women's perspectives in reproductive health research.  1, record 1, English, - Inter%2DAfrica%20Committee%20on%20Traditional%20Practices%20affecting%20the%20Health%20of%20Women%20and%20Children

En janvier 1995, le Conseil exécutif de l'OMS a admis quatre nouvelles organisations aux relations officielles, ce qui porte le total à 181. La décision du Conseil exécutif s'est fondée notamment sur l'exécution d'activités conjointes. C'est ainsi que le Comité interafricain sur les pratiques traditionnelles ayant effet sur la santé des femmes et des enfants a participé à la production d'un module d'information de l'OMS sur les mutilations génitales de la femme; l'Association internationale des Techniciens Biologistes à l'organisation dans les pays en développement de cours de formation sur la détection des maladies sexuellement transmissibles, de la tuberculose et des maladies opportunistes associées au SIDA, ainsi que sur l'entretien du matériel de laboratoire; l'Organisation internationale des Parlementaires médecins à l'échange d'informations sur les politiques sanitaires; et la Coalition internationale pour la Santé des Femmes à la promotion des perspectives offertes à la femme par la recherche en santé génésique.  1, record 1, French, - Comit%C3%A9%20interafricain%20sur%20les%20pratiques%20traditionnelles%20ayant%20effet%20sur%20la%20sant%C3%A9%20des%20femmes%20et%20des%20enfants
