The Issue Management System (IMS) is a centralized, national database system used by [the Canadian Food Inspection] Agency staff to document, track, and communicate information relating to the investigation and resolution of food related issues including food recalls. The system allows users to determine the status and progress of an issue from initiation to final conclusion.
