A genus of Fungi Imperfecti (family Moniliacea, order Moniliales) that develop fruiting organs resembling a broom, or the bones of the hand and fingers. When identified, the perfect (sexual) stage is classified with the ascomycetous fungi in the family Eurotiacea, order Eurotiales.
