The Public Interest and Integrity Committee of the CICA (Canadian Institutes of Chartered Accountants) was formed to provide leadership and oversight in maintaining strategies by which the CICA and the provincial Institutes/Ordre can maintain the integrity of the CA profession and protect the public interest.
