The SRF Hospital provides access to primary care for the local and surrounding area population base. It provides 24-hour access for emergencies. It serves its clients within the guidelines of a primary care hospital with 14 acute care beds. It also houses a LTC unit that totals 23 beds. The hospital also oversees the funding envelopes for the local ambulance service and the North Cochrane Detoxification Centre.
