The Social Continental Alliance is a concert of organizations and social progressist movements of the Americas. It was created with the goal of sharing information, defining strategies and to promote a collective search towards a model of alternative and democratic development which can profit all involved countries. L'Alliance Sociale Continentale (ASC) est un ensemble d'organisations et des mouvements sociaux progressistes des Amériques. Elle a été créée avec le but de partager de l'information, de définir des stratégies et de promouvoir des actions communes afin de chercher un modèle de développement alternatif et démocratique pouvant bénéficier à nos pays. Movimiento integrado por organizaciones sociales, redes temáticas y organizaciones sectoriales de todo el hemisferio americano, desde Canadá hasta Chile. Se conformó para intercambiar información, definir estrategias y promover acciones conjuntas. Su acción se centró en enfrentar la propuesta de creación del Área de Libre Comercio de las Américas, ALCA, y todas las diferentes modalidades del llamado libre comercio y de allí se concluyó la necesidad de buscar un modelo de desarrollo alternativo y democrático, fortalecer los movimientos sociales, trabajar por el bienestar de la población y el conjunto de derechos reconocidos en los diversos instrumentos internacionales vigentes, todo con miras a promover la justicia social y transformar las políticas de integración en el hemisferio. 1, record 1, Spanish, - Alianza%20Social%20Continental
