The Term Assignment Program (TAP) is a program unique to Elections Canada. It was designed by management, in consultation with the unions, in the context of the current Workforce Adjustment (WFA) process. It is available to affected indeterminate employees who may otherwise be declared surplus. Le Programme d'affectations de durée déterminée est unique à Élections Canada. Il a été conçu par la gestion, en consultation avec les syndicats, dans le contexte du processus actuel de réaménagement des effectifs. Il est offert aux employés permanents touchés qui, autrement, pourraient être déclarés excédentaires.
