OBS

The United Nations System Chief Executives Board (CEB) for Coordination - formerly the Administrative Committee on Coordination (ACC) - is the forum which brings the executive heads of all organizations to further coordination and cooperation on the whole range of substantive and management issues facing the United Nations system. ACC was established by the Secretary-General in 1946 at the request of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in Resolution 13 (II). The main purpose of the Committee was to supervise the implementation of the agreements between the United Nations and the specialized agencies. Since then, its mandate has grown to encompass the promotion of cooperation within the UN family in the pursuit of the Common goals of Member States across a wide range of substative and management issues.
