The Vancouver Stock Exchange Service Corporation was formed in 1974 and is owned by the VSE (75%) and the ASE [Alberta Stock Exchange] (25%). The Service Corporation operates its Continuous Depository And Net Settlement System (CNS) to facilitate book-based (certificateless) settlement between VSE and ASE member-users for VSE and ASE transactions.
