Dans le titre complet de cette loi, il aurait fallu lire «la bataille de la Crête de Vimy» pour respecter la règle de la langue française qui veut une majuscule au premier élément du spécifique d'un nom de bataille. Dans le titre court sous lequel la loi peut être énoncée, on peut s'étonner que l'anglais ne comporte qu'un nom géographique, «Vimy Ridge», alors que le français correspondant est un nom de bataille, «la bataille de Vimy».
