Administrative controls can limit an employee's exposure to a hazard by reducing the time of potential exposure. Administrative controls are usually implemented when exposures cannot be controlled through engineering procedures, or where controls at the source are impractical. 1, record 1, English, - administrative%20controls

One such method of control involves the arrangement of work schedules so that the exposure duration is minimized. ... [For example, where] the exposure limit is exceeded for a worker in one shift, the job can be assigned to more than one worker so that each individual's length of exposure is within the permissible limit. ... A second approach is to schedule hazardous operations or processes during a shift when fewer employees are present to minimize the number of workers exposed. 1, record 1, English, - administrative%20controls

Terme "contrôles administratifs" : À partir des fiches Termium portant la vedette "contrôle administratif". 1, record 1, French, - contr%C3%B4les%20administratifs
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS
1, record 1, French, - contr%C3%B4les%20administratifs
