Architectural technologists do work related to the technical/functional aspects of building design. They must be familiar with the processes of conceptualization, design and implementation of buildings as well as the technology aspects of building design from an engineering and construction standpoint. Architectural technologists are tasked with analyzing the needs and unique facets of a building project and coming up with functional building designs in accordance with modern standards of practices of architecture, engineering and construction.
