[Les colorants] plastosolubles [ou colorants dispersés] [sont des] colorants non sulfonés, ne comportant que peu ou pas de groupements à caractère hydrophile, [et] se présentant sous forme de produits quasi insolubles, mais dispersables dans l'eau. Présentés sous une forme finement dispersée, ils donnent une suspension stable dans les bains de teinture, d'où leur nom de [colorants dispersés] mais, pour éviter toute confusion avec les pigments, on préfère la dénomination de colorants plastosolubles.

OBS

[Les colorants dispersés] sont utilisés pour la coloration des fibres synthétiques : acétate, triacétate, polyamide, polyester.
