Accord conclu en rapport avec un contrat d'achat de titres, habituellement des titres d'État, par lequel l'acheteur s'engage ferme à revendre, à un prix et à une date déterminés, des titres du même émetteur, mais pas nécessairement les titres originellement achetés, la substance de l'opération étant l'octroi d'un prêt garanti par affectation des titres même si, techniquement, il y a transfert du droit de propriété.
