Flexible bellows-type expansion joints should be used for the flexible sections of the unloading line. They are manufactured with ASA ductile iron flanges with expansion members molded from tetrafluoroethylene resin.

"joint d'expansion, de dilatation" : dans une conduite, les joints d'expansion sont réalisés par un joint déformable dans le sens de l'axe de la conduite.

"soufflet" : le débit du fluide augmentant alors fait remonter la pression d'évaporation. Cette pression agissant sur le soufflet tend à l'allonger, d'où fermeture du pointeau.
