[Stripping] is used for deodorization, removal of ammoniacal or sulphurous compounds (H2S, sulphides, mercaptans), volatile phenols and oxygen. The stripping fluids used are, as appropriate, steam, air, gas fuels, flue gases, CO2 or methane.
