Difficulté respiratoire d'origine laryngée qui fait partie des bradypnées (rythme respiratoire ralenti). Elle se manifeste à l'inspiration, avec du tirage dans les régions sus-sterno-claviculaire, puis intercostales et épigastrique.

CONT

La principale cause des dyspnées laryngées est l'obstruction mécanique du larynx, tumorale ou inflammatoire. Parmi les autres causes, les corps étrangers, les paralysies bilatérales des nerfs récurrents (nerfs moteurs du larynx) sont les plus fréquents.
