  • Group Dynamics
CONT

The lecture is a quick way to present material because, by use of notes, the lecturer may move from one thought to the next in logical fashion. The lecture appeals to people since it is easier to listen than to read. It is rather simple to organize a lecture meeting. All that is necessary is for someone to introduce the speaker. ... Since the arrangement is a stage-audience affair, all that is needed are seats for the audience and a speaker's table or lectern.
