Maximum evapotranspiration (ETm) was estimated by the water balance method and reference evapotranspiration (ETo) by the following methods: Penman, class A pan, solar radiation and Thornthwaite. L'évapotranspiration maximale ETm d'une culture est la valeur de l'évapotranspiration, en l'absence d'advection, quand les conditions d'alimentation hydrique sont optimales, c'est-à-dire quand l'humidité du sol est proche de la capacité au champ dans la zone racinaire; dans ces conditions la résistance stomatique est minimale et la résistance de l'espace poreux végétal rp intervient; cette dernière dépend de l'espèce végétale et de son stade végétatif.
