Une première étude de marché, réalisé sur un échantillon de 200 entreprises de la région Rhône-Alpes, a d'ores et déjà permis d'identifier besoins, contraintes et priorités techniques des PME. Premier enseignement de cette étude : la moitié des entreprises se sont déclarées intéressées par le développement d'ASIC. Plus précisément, ces PME considèrent qu'à terme, elles auront besoins d'ASIC mixtes, analogiques/numériques. (Science et Technologie, 11.1990, 31, p. 73).
