outboard disc brake [1 record]

Record 1 1981-09-07

English

Subject field(s)
  • Braking Devices (Mechanical Components)
  • Braking Systems (Motor Vehicles and Bicycles)
OBS

Improvements in tyre adhesion permit speeds of up to 300 km/h and, as a result, more strain is placed on the suspension components and wheel bearing arrangements. The trend to outboard disc brakes at the front has not made the task of the bearing any easier.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Freins (Composants mécaniques)
  • Freins (Véhicules automobiles et bicyclettes)
OBS
