outflow winds: ... dry winds that develop and flow out of the interior of the province [usually the British Columbia] and funnel through steep-sided inlets on the mainland coast before heading for [the sea]. 3, record 1, English, - outflow%20wind
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Outflow winds occur when differing air masses are separated by a coastal mountain barrier. In extreme cases the cross-barrier pressure gradient and the high degree of stratification (often approaching a distinct layered structure) result in channel winds which exhibit hydraulic features. 4, record 1, English, - outflow%20wind

4, record 1, French, - vent%20de%20terre
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS
1, record 1, French, - vent%20de%20terre
