Méthode qui consiste à attribuer les coûts au stock en regroupant les articles stockés par familles ou groupes de même nature, plus ou moins homogènes, chaque famille ou groupe étant considéré comme une unité à laquelle on attribue un coût.

OBS

Cette méthode est particulièrement utile dans le cas des entités ayant de très grandes quantités d'articles en stock pour lesquelles l'attribution des coûts article par article s'avérerait coûteuse et nécessiterait beaucoup de temps.
