Apparently, about three years ago, the LTB decided to divide the "senior teachers" into two groups, one in charge of a number of teachers (LAT-01s) and the other in charge of resource centres, where the first could obtain information and advice. The decision was never implemented in the English Program - Hence, all LAT-02s are called "senior teachers" in English.
