CONT

Le forgeage liquide est utilisé pour des pièces simples (par exemple, pistons, bielles) destinées à des ensembles de haute technologie (automobiles de compétition, structures aéronautiques, etc.), ainsi que pour des pièces à renforts métalliques ou composites. Le remplissage du moule se fait par gravité, après quoi une presse appuie sur la surface libre ce qui augmente la qualité d'imprégnation et la compacité du matériau par une réduction importante de la porosité.
