Pollution, au niveau de la stratosphère, qui est caractérisée par un appauvrissement progressif de la couche d'ozone, causant une augmentation du nombre de cancers cutanés, et qui est due principalement à la photodécomposition des hydrocarbures halogénés dans cette partie de l'atmosphère.

OBS

Depuis 1985, la présence des chlorofluorocarbures dans la stratosphère s'impose de plus en plus comme la principale explication aux phénomènes de pollution stratosphérique.
