The [Y2K] problem arises from a simple, yet egregious error. Le problème du changement de date à l'an 2000 découle de l'utilisation habituelle de champs de dates à deux chiffres seulement. Cette façon de faire avait été adoptée dans le passé pour préserver l'espace disque et l'espace mémoire, alors coûteux.
