English

Subject field(s)
  • Burners and Steamfitting
DEF

A gas burner in which the gas is delivered vertically from below the combustion chamber, resulting in a vertical flame.

CONT

Burners of the atmospheric type are most frequently made up of a multiple of tubes or burners, each with a Venturi, gas orifice, and burner heads. These burners are of inshot or upshot design ... upshot burners are arranged vertically, making them more adaptable in firebox-type boilers.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Fumisterie et brûleurs
CONT
