for "waterproofing mechanic" : 'Waterproofing mechanic' and 'waterproofer' are most often synonyms. However 'waterproofing mechanic' may be reserved for the contractor if one wishes to differentiate between the contractor and the actual worker. As well, if one wishes to distinguish between the worker who uses a machine and the one who uses only his hands, the first worker is called a 'waterproofing mechanic', the second a 'waterproofer'.
