Méthode indirecte de mesure de la pression portale (...) La méthode la plus utilisée est la mesure des pressions sus-hépatiques. Cette technique consiste à introduire un cathéter dans une veine sus-hépatique sous contrôle radiotélévisé et à bloquer le cathéter dans une veinule afin d'arrêter la circulation dans ce vaisseau. La pression mesurée est alors la pression sus-hépatique bloquée.
