In 1812, when he was denied the right to rule this school any longer there were about eighty pupils. As for the convent and the Chapel of the Barnabites, they had been used diversely during the Revolution and became a city secondary school. En 1812, lorsque son autorisation lui est supprimée, on y comptait environ quatre-vingts élèves. Quant aux couvent et chapelle des Barnabites, diversement utilisés pendant la Révolution, ils deviennent en 1806 le siège d'une école secondaire municipale.
