OBS

[The Code of Service Discipline] applies to all members of the Canadian Armed Forces as well as to civilian personnel accompanying a unit of the Armed Forces on service or active service. The Code provides a system of disciplinary offences designed to further the good order and proper functioning of the Armed Forces. It also makes most offences under the Criminal Code and certain other federal laws to be military offences as well if committed by those subject to military law.

Le Code de discipline militaire s'applique à tous les membres des Forces armées canadiennes, ainsi qu'aux civils qui accompagnent les unités des Forces canadiennes qui sont en service ou en service actif. Le Code prévoit un système d'infractions disciplinaires visant à favoriser le bon ordre et le bon fonctionnement des Forces armées. Il considère également certaines infractions prévues au Code criminel et à certaines autres lois fédérales comme des infractions militaires lorsqu'elles sont commises par des personnes justiciables des tribunaux militaires.
