Genome Canada (GC) is a private-sector initiative designed to bring industry, academia, hospitals, not-for-profit agencies, foundations, and the federal and provincial governments together in a consortium to create a multidisciplinary research and funding program linked to the international genome research project. In a sense, the initiative replaces the Canadian Genome Analysis and Technology Program. Génome Canada (GC) est une initiative du secteur privé dont l'objectif est d'amener le secteur de l'industrie, des universités, des hôpitaux, des organismes sans but lucratif, des fondations et les gouvernements fédéral et provinciaux à travailler en consortium pour créer un programme de recherche multidisciplinaire et de financement associé au projet international de recherche sur le génome.
