The Canadian Initiative for International Technology Transfer (CIITT) is designed to identify and develop climate change technology transfer to both developed and developing countries through Canadian businesses and non-government organizations. Often project developers and technology providers are expected to demonstrate the feasibility of the technology proposed at their expense, before their international clients make a full commitment to the project. L'Initiative canadienne pour le transfert technologique international (ICTTI) est conçue afin d'identifier et de développer le transfert de technologie sur le changement climatique vers les pays développés et en voie de développement par les entreprises canadiennes et organismes non gouvernementaux. Souvent, on s'attend à ce que les initiateurs de projet et fournisseurs de technologies démontrent la faisabilité de la technologie proposée à leurs propres frais, avant que leurs clients internationaux ne prennent l'engagement complet dans leur projet.
