Literacy Nova Scotia (LNS) is a not-for-profit organization supporting the literacy community in Nova Scotia. Our mission is to make sure every Nova Scotian has equal access to quality literacy education. LNS was formed in 1992. We provide a provincial forum for organizations and people to work together to make sure every adult has learning opportunities. We support a strong movement of people interested in adult education. LNS advocates on behalf of adult learners and the literacy community. We inform governments and the general public about literacy.
