The Student Business Loans program, offered through Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC), is part of the federal government's Student Summer Job Action initiative and is managed by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC). The program offers loans up to $3,000 for student entrepreneurs to operate their own business during the summer months. The financing can be used for start up and operating costs.
