The acronym "RREGOP" stands for Régime de retraite des employés du gouvernement et des organismes publics, which translates as the Government and Public Employees Retirement Plan. RREGOP has been in force since July 1, 1973. It covers regular and casual employees who work full time or part time in Québec health and social services and education sectors and in the civil service.
